Afterthought

Following up on Martin Wolf's graph.


Wolf's graph (see previous post) shows worsening economic growth since the 1980s, among "the six biggest high-income economies."

One might easily show a better record by putting China on a graph.

It's like the fall of Rome, when the population "mysteriously" disappeared rather quickly, and then later, suddenly, historians note a large and vibrant economy in China Byzantium.

I don't think we're there, yet.
